PasswordWallet - All Inclusive App Reviews

Unaware that this app was not supported in iOs 8 I updated after doing a full backup. After updating, I checked and I thought everything was safe. A bunch of apps were updated after the firmware update and my iPhone backed up again. All safe, right? Not so. I launched PasswordWallet and logged in, wham, it crashed. Playing smart I backed up my passwords to my email. I also checked and was made aware, after the fact, that the current version was not supported in iOS 8. So I bought the windows desktop software, so I would at least have access to my passwords. I downloaded the software, installed it, and put in my registration number and then opened the password file I had emailed myself from my iPhone, it was empty. No passwords. Needless to say. I am not very happy with this situation.

Loved this app until I upgraded to IOS8 and it no longer opens. Now I have to find a new app!

iOS 8 wont open my wallet! I have multiple backups and I have tried reinstalling the app! It crashes when you put in your password. Ive loaded multiple backups with same results!!! Help me!

Over 100 passwords gone on iPhone and iPad as of 9/18 after upgrade. Cannot back up from desktop. This is absolutely criminal!

FYI, if you updated your iPhone to IOS 8 and cannot access your passwords, this company has a work around on the developer website (link is on the left side of this page) to access your passwords.

Update for iOS 8: I depend on this thing. Thought I was going to go crazy when iOS 8 came out a day before this compatible version. But now all is well, and Password Wallet continues to be excellent. Old review: Ive been using the Mac version of this app forever, or maybe ten years or so. The developer has always updated it for new versions of the Mac OS and to improve the apps inner workings while at the same time not burdening it with unnecessary new features. I bought this immediately when I started using iOS devices three years ago, and it has proved equally reliable. Caveat: to make the syncing—via Dropbox—work right, one has to read the directions. Then things work fine.

Love the app, have I used it for years. Appreciate that the developer continues to update and make better! A+

I love this app, Ive been using it for years and its never let me down. Simple, secure, great features. Ill give it five stars when the dev optimizes it for iPhone 6/6+, but the new update is great! Touch ID is a fantastic addition!

I had a problem with the update to IOS 8. I contacted site support and got a reply within a few minutes. As it turned out the problem was on my end but the quick responce pointed me in the right direction. Thank you.

Useful app. Works on mobile devices and Mac/Windows. It would be great if wallet colors would sync with the files or they could be set using the mobile app. Thanks for your consideration!

The app is simple and synchs across platforms or via Dropbox. It’s encrypted and as secure as such things go. It also generates random, impossible to remember long password strings. I highly recommend PasswordWallet.

Ive tried literally dozens of different password keeping apps over the years (and still test new ones for comparison) and this is still the one to beat. Other password utilities sacrifice function to make things look unnecessarily pretty. PasswordWallet keeps things organized and flexible so the user can obtain the most use while maintaining a simple interface. It can store thousands of passwords and other confidential data while still allowing immediate retrieval. It synchronizes all data, field by field, between different devices. Excellent. Bravo for a job well done.

I use this every day. Gone are the days when every application gets the same password. This app makes it possible to easily have a unique password for every website card and application that needs one and keeps them safe and at your fingertip. Ive also needed the program to pull my passwords from a back up and it worked well saving the day.

Ive used this app multiple times a day over the last couple years and recommend it to everyone. The last update was really needed and it delivered! Logging in via my fingerprint is a welcome update. Syncing with dropbox just made it awesome! I use this on my iPhone, iPad, and Mac and syncing is a breeze now. If I havent opened it on my iPad for a while, hitting "sync with dropbox" is great since I can be anywhere and syncs in a few seconds. The browser that auto-types my login info on sites is so nice, too. Keeps getting better with each update!
